Where to stay in Boston

To stay close to where most of Boston's tourist action is, book a room at one of the many hotels located downtown, near the center of the city and state governments, businesses, and shopping. For a more affordable option, consider a budget-friendly boutique hotel or small bed and breakfast in one of the city's diverse residential neighborhoods. If you plan to stay longer and need a real home away from home, explore Boston's short-term rental options, which include private villas, waterfront lofts, and luxury apartments scattered across the city's historical districts.

  • This was the highlight of our stay at Boston. This is the concert hall from the college for Jazz where most of the Grammy's come from! We were lucky to see and listen to a great perfomance of Cory Hen...  more »
  • Check out the concerts - all seats are good and there is a variety to choose from. Loved see Joan Armatrading there last year - and if jazz is your thing this is the place.  more »
  • Try and catch a performance by some at one of the student recital halls. Some excellent teachers and young musicians play/teach/study here.  more »

  • I come for the Five Week Program and it is a school to remember and amazing people and outstanding classes. You might never want to leave.
  • A pretty small campus but in a good, fast-paced part of the city. This is a great, selective college with several impressive programs.
  • Horrible musical theater summer programm. An effronterty organization-wise. No quality. Horrible.
  • Best music school on the planet. Phenomenal classes and teachers, on campus resources, and off campus attractions. Housing is kind of crappy though, you will most likely get screwed over unless you're on a scholarship.
  • Good music school, being here just makes my heart sing.
