  • Margaritaville Resort is usually my first stop in Shreveport. When I get the hankering to gamble I book one of the rooms at this location. The casino itself is pretty on par to any other casino around...  more »
  • Did not stay in the hotel so the review is about the casino. Nice brightly lit casino. This casino seems to cater the penny slots crowd. If you like penny slots this casino is for you. Wide open space...  more »
  • We were there to see a concert, the room for the show is rather small. Casino slots are so tight, no one was winning that I could see. We just fed machines, they don't compare to the ones on the Missi...  more »

  • I've been a few times. I believe and I have to say it's really fun but last night was great! I am no gambler by far, nor do I do much of it (maybe a dozen times at the most a year). To me a twenty dollar bill is a lot to lose with what little I get monthly. To make a long story short. I played about eight dollars when a game came up as a bonus spin. Well it wouldn't stop, I couldn't keep up with how many times it was spinning and each spin was a winner. When it was done, I has it a total of 270.00. This was an exciting time for me, just not normal. I was blessed. I paid a the electric, water and gas with the money
  • Bright, clean well ventilated casino area. Terrific buffet. Plenty of staff available and willing to offer assistance. Will definitely return in the future and stay at the hotel. The older hotel/casino where we are currently staying is showing its age. Carpeting is stained, rust is visible around shower door and water leaks out at bottom of shower. Rate was a good deal, but you do get what you pay for. Never again.
  • Loved our stay at Margaritaville. Our housekeeper, Sharon on floor 19 is the "BOMB". She really took great care of us. We left something in our room and had to return to the hotel to retrieve. I called and spoke to housekeeping who connected me directly with Sharon. She went above and beyond by going back to the room and bringing the item down to me in the hotel lobby. Of you appreciate great service, ask for Sharon on the 19th floor. Best stay of our week long road trip.
  • I love the size and openness of the place. We actually had an employee offer us a ride to the front door on a golf cart. All of the employees I spoke with were considerate and helpful. Buffet is the best of all the casinos. I'm not sure how the hotel is but given the rest of the facility I'd love to find out.
  • Check in was not very organized and no one offered any help as far as parking or luggage. After asking for help with valet parking and grabbing someone to help with luggage we finally got to the room. The Bell hop was nice and informative after asking for help. The room looked and smelled nice, but the bed had a awful squeak when moving just a little. The casino was typical, smoking is allowed so we didn't spend too much time there, no live entertainment in the bar except on Tuesday nights. The buffet is $27 and the food was marginal at best, the best item is the sirloin that you have to pre order, no idea if you can reorder, I only wanted one, although it was on the smaller side. All the other food was generic tasting. Will try a different place if we come back through.
