  • As an out of towner, the views here did not disappoint and were worth the drive. Not much more else to add, other than pack your patience for the road construction along the way.  more »
  • Pretty place, full of big Redwoods and trails running through them. A nice place to camp out, or have a family picnic.  more »

  • We really enjoy spending memorial day weekends in this park. The setup is ideal for group camping. There are things to do for both old and young.
  • Old virgin growth forest, friendly camp hosts, slow moving river (summertime) can't say enough good things about here.
  • Great place for family camping. Make sure to take a walk at Hendy Grove
  • Decent hikes. Cool little river.
  • This park has an old growth redwood Grove. You walk through a quiet forest of up to 700 year old trees. It is very humbling. The hiking path keeps you busy for not much more than an hour and is entirely flat. There are also a bunch of picnic cabanas and a campsite that must be plagued by mosquitoes and abundant campfire smoke. But I did not linger there.
