The farm began as Davis Farm, a dairy in Sterling Massachusetts in the late 1800's. In 1935, Jonathan Davis became interested in fruit production and bought Bolton Fruit Company, a 200 acre peach orchard in Bolton Massachusetts. Over time, much of the peach orchard was replaced by other fruits and vegetables. In 1945, a farm-stand was built at the intersection of routes 110 and 117. Since that time, both the orchard and the farm-stand have expanded significantly.

Currently, 250 acres are in active production, producing an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables including:

•25 Varieties of Apples

•15 Varieties of Peaches

•5 Varieties of Pears

•5 Varieties of Nectarines

•5 Varieties of Plums

•Sweet Corn

  • I've been coming here for 16 years. They have THE best cider donuts. Their cider and homemade pies are also great.
  • This place is a great little market. Some things are a little pricey like when they do the pumpkins but the fruit is very well priced and the seconds are a great deal. Fantastic doughnuts and good items. Have to try the apple cider, they do fresh pressed cups out of a tap for 5c which the kids love.
  • Good place to stop in fr ice cream or a quick bite to eat. The donuts are worth the trip as well.
  • Little corner-store feel with lots of fresh offerings. Also has a deli, bakery, and ice cream sections that attract a fair amount of customers. I personally enjoy many of their deli and grill offerings.
  • This is such a nice little farm store. There's so much variety and fresh produce, as well as many giftable items. They have delicious fresh cider donuts and have a deli for cold cuts as well as sandwiches and specials. The people are friendly and it's a real gem. Definitely quality at the crossroads!
