  • Best mountain for VT locals that are looking for an inexpensive day of skiing. Courteous staff, fair prices and good terrain. I'd recommend this mountain for anyone looking to learn to ski/ride for a fair price. Very good Nordic center as well.
  • Went here for snowboarding for the first time in my life. The people were friendly, and helpful, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I loved it, and I plan to go back regularly. I've been here a few times this season now, and I can say the people are always pleasant, and helpful, and patient with newbies who don't know much. Visiting here is always a great experience, and the upstairs food is some of the best I've had. The prices for everything feel fair as well, be it food, passes, or equipment care.
  • I love Bolton Valley! It's a small quiet resort that doesn't have the funding of the bigger mountains around here but makes up for it with heart. The community is so wonderfully helpful and happy to be there. I learned to ride at Bolton Valley and return as often as possible for hiking in the summer, lifts and skinning in the winter and some biking in the fall. Rooms and services may not be the top of the line but they are certainly adequate and will make you want to get out there on the slopes!
  • Nice mountain for snowboarding and skiing. Friendly staff and trails for all skill levels. The black diamond trails seemed more like blue square level, but that's not a bad thing. Will definitely be going back!
  • The resort has a great skiing mountain with amazing glades. The rooms are a little dated but work fine and have everything in working order (even some Murphy beds!). Service is great, asked for sheets - I got sheets. Even could get a bundle of 20 stickers for the younger kids to play with (50th anniversary).Security guards are nice and the place is well lit. Finally, the best part is the sports emporium with free entry to a sauna, hot tub, pool, and a giant gym room.
