  • This park has trails that go for miles a miles. Popular with off road biking, hikers, and nature lovers. Great place to see local plants and birds. On the backside of the hill there are creeks and ponds. I lived in Boise for quite a few years before exploring this park, and I regret not doing it sooner. Beautiful views of downtown and Owyhee range on clear days. Great place to walk and clear your head. The initial incline is doable for most people and you can take your time if you are a bit out of shape.
  • One of the best parks in Boise. Great playground for kids. Hikes around park are great but is also right at base of 8th street trail system so access to miles of trails behind it. Tennis courts ands tons of space to run and play for kids of all ages.
  • It can get a bit crowded on the weekends, but my kids love this park. There's so much to do and tons or room to just run around. I also like that you can get on the hiking trails right from the park.
  • An oasis in the city, Camel's Back Park has hiking trails, large grassy expanses, play areas for children, and benches for people-watching. An easy walk from the downtown area, it's a great place for family picnics and off-leash areas for furry friends and children.
  • Great foothill trail access, family friendly with swings, jungle gym, sand volleyball court, tennis courts. Limited parking when busy
