  • Brought my 2.5 year old son for a morning activity when visiting his grandparents. As others have noted, the facility is pretty small, but hopefully it'll generate enough support and interest to allow it to move and expand in the coming years. For a hyperactive animal-loving toddler, this was a great way to spend an hour or so. And even though it doesn't have a lot of square footage, they pack a lot of exhibits and engagement in the space they have; we got to feed and pet stingrays, sharks, an iguana, and birds, and see seahorses, turtles, shark eggsacs, and, obviously, plenty of fish. The staff were friendly and showed a good balance of trying to draw kids' attention while teaching them a bit, too. So while it's a far cry from the massive National Aquarium in Baltimore, it's still a great enrichment and entertainment opportunity for a nature-loving kid (or grown-up!).
  • This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but I really enjoyed it. I am often accused of being a negative judge of things and I had a great time. Very interactive and I got to touch sharks, sting rays, snakes and birds. The tanks are full of real plants and coral instead of looking like a pet shop fish tank with plastic decorations. Employees also were very Informative and brought animals out of exhibits to teach people about them.
  • I wish the location was downtown closer to the zoo and Discovery center. We enjoy going here with the kids occasionally. It's on the small side so it is a fairly quick activity. Maybe 45 minutes if you can slow the toddler down and go through twice. The shark tank and Ray tank are always a hit with the kids!
  • Very cool place! Only been here once but I was impressed with all the different animals to look at. You can touch some of them too. How fun and exciting for the kiddos.
  • Great staff, excellent concept and betty engaging especially for young people. A petting zoo for aquatic life and birds! And educational.
