  • My family and I went here to see what it was like. We had a great tour guide! We saw some cave salamanders and a bat. Lots of interesting formations to see and my kids enjoyed it. I thought the ticket...  more »
  • Patty's first day as guide. The caverns have some lighting and flashlights are provided. Pace was great-lots of stairs though and places inside where you need to crouch. Lots of interesting things to ...  more »
  • This place was very rustic. We liked using the flash lights in the cave. Defiantly wear tennis shoes it is very wet in the cave. The guide was funny. It was a great place to spend and hour. Definitely...  more »

  • Adventure Tour: 5/5 - Don't miss out on the Adventure Tour! This beginner-friendly tour explores the lower cave that continues from where the regular walking tour ends in the Cathedral room. Greg led us with his great dry humor through deep mud that captures your shoes, freezing water, surprises at every turn and wonder. I suggest doing your research of this great place before visiting 'cause Greg would much rather climb around with you than discuss the geology, history, etc. He is also very friendly and keeps the group safe. It is so fun! Camping: 3/5 - There are spots with electricity, some without electricity, bathrooms, a laundry room and someone you can call at any time. The spots for tent camping are not marked so we were confused where to set up or park. We were also confused why we were the only ones who were not in a RV. People need to get out more... Trails: 1/5 - We hiked the short .5 mile trail leading from the tent camping area at night. It was only marked with a few signs explaining the wildlife and these little colored ribbons that pop up sometimes. I could see how it would be hard to navigate the trail even during the day. Staff: 5/5 - Very friendly, helpful and fun! Price: 3/5 - What I expected. $25 for a tent spot (no electricity, 2 max with $3 for each extra person) & $55 for the Adventure Tour
  • I not really a cave exploring person but the fam and I were looking for something to do on a rainy day. I can't say this was an amazing experience but it was worthwhile and interesting in a wholesome way. Our guide was knowledgeable and very patient especially since we had a semi naughty 4 year old with us. The walk is about a mile ( 1/2 mile to and then back). I'd recommend wearing decent shoes for rock and puddles. There are passages of the cave where you'll have to hunch over to walk at a 45 degree angle if you're taller than 5 foot. Overall I'd say it was folksy fun.
  • Small but fun cave. The tour lasted about an hour and was informative. Probably won't be back since it's a smaller cave but the bats were cool and we're glad we visited.
  • Our guide was really entertaining and the cave was just the right length, that is I never got bored. There aren't as many formations as other caves in the area but I really enjoyed it. Also the gift shop is reasonably priced.
  • The tour of the caverns is amazing! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and gave great insight to the history of the caverns.
