  • Well maintained, but inaccessible interior. Good for a story and a photo - and take on of the church Ansel Adams put on the cover of one of his guides.
  • It's a nice building, well kept. A few minutes from Valley Ford. You cannot go inside. It is right next door to the St. Teresa Church so you get two for one.
  • a fun activity if you like history and dont mind staring at an empty house you cant enter. i would suggest a visit ì you have time.

  • 'The Birds' was filmed here in 1961 - wonderfully preserved & now privately owned
  • Very beautifully preserved school. Please keep in mind that it is now a private residence. The owners are kind enough to not make a fuss over folks taking pictures, so please return the favor and grant them the respect they deserve. A side note… St. Theresa of Avila, the church which is also featured in the movie, as well as the Ansel Adams Work, is just beyond this property and is as beautiful as ever.
  • this was the school used in the movie The Birds very well preserved. I went to a one roo. school house when I was a kid. early 50s
