  • If you have seen the movie birds this is in one of the scenes. Bodega is a small artsy town where you can shop for little souvenirs and see this potter schoolhouse.

  • 'The Birds' was filmed here in 1961 - wonderfully preserved & now privately owned
  • Very beautifully preserved school. Please keep in mind that it is now a private residence. The owners are kind enough to not make a fuss over folks taking pictures, so please return the favor and grant them the respect they deserve. A side noteā€¦ St. Theresa of Avila, the church which is also featured in the movie, as well as the Ansel Adams Work, is just beyond this property and is as beautiful as ever.
  • this was the school used in the movie The Birds very well preserved. I went to a one roo. school house when I was a kid. early 50s
