  • I attended the park's original opening day with my little sister and brother. Many years later I continue to visit with my kids when I'm back in town visiting family. We just went after the renovation...  more »
  • If not for TripAdvisor would not have found this GEM. My 5 year old loved the spray and the running lane. Must must visit..not crowded as usual playgrounds.  more »

  • Great for small kids with a collection of climbing and activities for little kids. Older kids will enjoy the fields and outdoor picnic areas. My children spent many years going to kiddies area and my teens would go with their friends and enjoy the shaded picnic areas. This park is well maintained and has been a favorite of Boca Raton residents for many years. The park closes in the evening so check hours. FREE!
  • Sugar Sand Park has one of the most impressive playgrounds in the area. It was recently remodeled and they did a fantastic job. As part of the remodel the area for small children was expanded. Also, the museum features exhibits that are nicely done and enjoyable and informative for all ages.
  • The newly renovated play park is awesome! City of Boca... Bravo! One small request is to have more shaded play areas as some of the slides get really hot and should be shaded.
  • Great place for both kids & adults! Seems like the park was designed with parents in mind....lots of shade!! The misty water is great for hot days when you don't want to get soaked, but want to cool down.
  • A very nice oasis in the midst of Boca. Great well sized kids playground with spray mister to keep them cool. Decent area for bike riding and a couple "Nature Trails" that were cool.

Where to stay in Boca Raton

Resorts and oceanside hotels with peach and pink stucco architecture populate Boca Raton's coastline. Farther inland from the beaches, there's a wide selection of affordable lodging in chain hotels and rental properties. For a longer stay, consider renting a furnished apartment from a private owner near the city's downtown. Those looking for a stress-free vacation could try an all-inclusive vacation package at one of the seaside resorts.
