  • Great place for a relaxing holiday. Walking along the paths, equipped with pleasure to observe local flora and fauna.

  • Good place to take your toddler for a natrue walk on a cool day. It is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Bring a camera.
  • We lucked out with our visit as it was a "festival" day and they had encounters with live animals, a snake was a hit with our youngsters! The displays and interactive exhibits were top-notch.
  • This is a delightful park that has a little bit of something for everyone. The center itself is a fun and interactive place for kids and adults to experience a small, taste of florida nature up close and personal. Their exhibit room is stunning and informative. They also have daily animal feedings :-) my kids adore this place!
  • Great place for children and those who love nature. The butterfly garden out front with the two nature trails make this a great destination. The nature center is located inside of a park with many other things to do, easily a days adventure for the little ones.
  • Love this place! Daggerwing is a delightful nature center. There's a boardwalk that goes about 1-2 miles depending on which route you take, and it includes a tower that goes up about 30 feet. You can't see that much from the top of the tower so I'm not sure why it's there, but it's a short and fun climb. The boardwalk is open pretty much everyday, even when the center itself is closed. The staff are very pleasant too, and they have a schedule of activities with a lot for kids.
  • Great fun and educational experience for the whole family! We went there for a walk and then were present at the feeding of George the skunk. Few days later attended the "Animal Keeper for a Day" event and the kids (9 & 7 yrs) loved it! Even the 2,5 yrs toddler had a great time. It was so nice to see the people who take such a good and loving care of the animals!
  • Great Facility (but the Google posted hours are wrong!) - be sure to call or visit the website for the most accurate information!
