  • We anchored our boat in Pelican Bay and used the Dinghy to go into the docks to get to the park. They have a great dock setup; there are ferries that bring people over to the island for the day or the...  more »

  • Cayo Costa is #Paradise highly recommended 👍
  • Beautiful but they should warn the campers that the cabins are not Mosquito or sand fly proof. 3 days camping and over 1000 bites. Bring noseeum gear
  • Great island preserve! Great trails and amazing beaches. Each side presents a different kind of beach. You can get more flat beach or very wooded beaches. Even has sand bars you can go on. Very primitive camping you can only reach by boat or fairy. At least it has a shower :)
  • This is our favorite beach in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area. We have not camped or hiked there; we just sunbathe and swim. There are bathrooms but they're not fancy. We just love that it's not crowded like all the other beaches in the area. My mom lives on Pine Island and she introduced us to it. We have taken the Tropic Star and also hired a boat to take us out. The Tropic Star boat ride is great, usually. They know where to find dolphins and have taken us into the manatee coves as well. The whole trip is like paradise on earth, at least when the weather is good. :-)
  • This place sucks. At night it is hot and buggy. Do not come here. It is a living hell.
