  • We went to the Lilly Pad with our four kids age 3-11. Their 9-hole miniature golf course is included with the cost of gem mining, and we did that first, which the kids loved. They all loved the gem mi...  more »

  • We passed this place on the way to a tubing adventure and thought it might be worth a peak. Turns out, it's worth every penny of a pesk. The entire property is clean and well maintained. The owner is a very nice, helpful person who wants you to have a great experience. My girls fished for about three hours before we were rained out - at which point we were told we could come back due it being a 'rain out' at no additional charge. It's not some high end operation, it is quaint, it is charming and overall a fun time. I recommend this for families with children who want to enjoy some group activities while relaxing.
  • We had an awesome time at Lilly Pad Village! Our three kids (age 3-9) did the gem mining and it was really cute. They each got their own bucket of dirt and sifted through it to find gems at the mining station. Each one of them walked away with at least 10-15 pretty gems. It was really enjoyable and the staff was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend! For the people that commented the prices were too high, it was $15 per child. We were a little skeptical, but when our kids found so many gems and had such a great experience, it was well worth it. You could not buy that many gems in a store for $15. And I asked a nice lady that worked there where they get their gems and a guy digs up the dirt and bags it for them. This place actually exceeded our expectations and the grounds are very nice and well kept. We came in early April during spring break and it was very pretty. I think people that leave negative reviews need to change their negative outlook on life!!!!
  • Our family visited the Lily Pad today. Our 2 boys had a great time gem mining! Exceptional service and wonderful place to take the family.
  • The gem mining is a must for the kids!! You will not be disappointed!!! The teacher is extremely sweet and know her gems!!!
  • Highly recommend the Lilky Pad to anyone with kids! The staff does not treat you like just anther customer, but actually take the time to make the adventure worthwhile. Best bang for your buck and great scenery to take in. I am from eastern NC and be back for more buckets of fun in the future!
