  • OMG: Everything you could possibly want is right here. The food is out of sight. The gift shop has everything .
  • !We always bring a cooler and our reusable shopping bags when we shop here. Great deals! So many choices! Lots of products! We will be back!
  • I agree that it is not technically a "Farmer's Market" It is a LARGE market that sells just about any and everything you can possibly think of. I especially like their bulk foods department--caking ne...  more »

  • Best Smorgasbord I have been to in a long time. We were there for breakfast. Many places have an omelette bar, they have an egg bar. If you want 2 dippy eggs, you can have 2 dippy eggs. They also have a nice pancake bar with made to order cakes topped with many different toppings. A ton of choices on the bar also. The biggest surprise was the quality of the coffee. Usually coffee prepared in large urns is crap, but their coffee was very tasty.
  • You can't go wrong with a stop at Shady Maple. I don't always go to the buffet but the Farm Market is a must. The produce is perfect. I always get at least one jar of something homemade as well like salsa, jam or apple butter. The bakery can't be beat. My only problem is the one hour drive for me to get there although my wallet appreciates it. ha.
  • Best donuts EVER. We drive from an hour away to get these donuts, especially the pb&j and the maple bacon donut. The sweet potato doughnut was also amazing. Had my son's birthday cake make here twice and it was the best cake I've ever had and every single guest raved about it. The specialty cakes staff was incredibly helpful and they did a wonderful job. I'll never go anywhere else for birthday cakes.
  • Best grocery store around. Love all of the fresh local produce at great prices. Staff is always friendly.
  • There has been a cafeteria style restaurant next to the supermarket for years. When the grocery store was remodeled, the restaurant got a major remodel too, and its a nice cheerful space. For breakfast and lunch/dinner there is a limited menu (about 12 different items to choose from, plus a daily special & salad bar), plus coffee specialties - and this is perfect if you are going to grab a bite before shopping. Prices are low. You choose your meal cafeteria style with a tray sliding in front of the food, although sandwiches are grilled to order (and you'll get a beeper so you know when to pick it up). Everything is prepared from scratch as far as I can tell. If the daily special is something you like, go for it - I was amazed at the amount of Pork, Cabbage and Potatoes I got. Soft drinks / milk / juices are all you can drink. There is a frequent diner card, if you get enough punches, you get a free meal. There is staff to bus the tables when you are done.
