The main attraction was definitely the "room". It was fascinating but other than that and overall, the experience was just "blah". Our "guide" literally seemed rushed once we got to the vortex room an... read more »
Loved learning about the Vortex, loved experiencing the Vortex even more! They also had a great game and puzzle room that I found fascinating! We will probably be back...
I remember seeing this on an episode of the 80's Jack Palance edition of Ripley's Believe it or Not. Although, while I think it was at another location, the concept was the same. Little did I know that there are multiple vortex/gravitational mystery things scattered all over the U.S. So should you prepare to be amazed? Definitely. This nine-buck roadside attraction lives up to mystery and is a unique experience you won't find, pretty much, elsewhere.
I loved it! I had so much fun In the gravity room. Very friendly service and fun for adults and kids alike!
Absolutely had a blast!!!! I really enjoyed the Native American museum I could've stayed in there for hours.. and the Gem mining store.. I will be going back.. Not a bad prices on anything there..
Superb attraction in the high country of North Carolina. On par or better than Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, and Appalachian Ski Mtn. A true geographical oddity. Very friendly staff and great owners!
This is one of my favorite places. The tour was guided. I don't really care to see all of the arrowheads in the other building, but I do like the upstairs of that building where you can see some old timey stuff from an old guy that had something to do with App State
