  • I went there with my niece and her family (husband and 4 kids). The kids loved it. I was the "designated bag carrier", as I'm way too old for rides like this. The parents went with the kids when neces...  more »

  • There are rides available for all ages. The attendants were very courteous. The rope climb and zip line combo was worth the additional cost and there is a discount if you have the all day wristband. The rope climb attendants were extremely patient with my 10 year old when she get got a little nervous during the climb. We went on a weekday, early in the day, it was not crowded and there were no lines.
  • Had a Great time! Employee's were helpful and nice. Had an issue with a couple wrist bands, customer service was very happy to help and take care of us! All the rides were available and the whole park is very clean. Thanks!
  • Our Nickelodeon Universe experience was wonderful until we got to the barnyard hay ride. Unlike the attendants at other rides, the attendant at the barnyard hay ride was impolite and morose. When my friend accidentally flipped over her wristband, the attendant gave her a huge eye roll and audibly sighed. During the ride we were counting down the seconds until the ride was over because of the attendant's rudeness. When we finally got off we reached a consensus that we would not go on the ride again due to the attendant's rude mannerisms. Furthermore, we were almost killed on the Pepsi Orange Streak. When checking if seat belts were fastened, the attendants merely touched our lap bars. The ride was running smoothly until 15 seconds in when my friend's lap bar popped off. I tried to grab my friend which resulted in my lap bar popping off too because of my shift in position. We were gripping on the low quality metal bar in front of us, clinging desperately for life. We were spiraling down the canyon of death and despair. Finally, Jesus performed a miracle. Our seat belts fastened again. We looked death straight in the eye and said "see you later". We expect some staffing changes to be made to ensure the safety of other visitors. Overall, our experience was one to remember, but NOT in a good way.
  • Great fun place to have fun and for kids but could use some kiddie rides for the children 2 to age 6 so they can have fun too
  • I rode the Log Chute ride for the first time in 21 years. This brings back good memories and the ride itself is the same as when I rode it except for a few minor changes. Thank you Nickelodeon Universe for keeping this ride all of these years. I hope you keep the ride for many years to come. The Log Chute will always be my favorite ride at Nickelodeon Universe.

Where to stay in Bloomington

Most of the accommodations in Bloomington lie along Interstate 494 with easy access to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The Mall of America lies just south of the airport, so most of the hotels around the airport provide convenient access to the mall as well. Consider staying in one of the hotels on Killebrew Drive, which serves as the mall's southern border, to get away from the interstate.
