  • Absolutely love this cider mill. The cider is always fresh, and the donuts are some of the best out of many of the local cider mills. They move the line quick, and the workers at the counter are always friendly. The seating/standing area where everyone enjoys their fall treats is always pretty clean and void of any old spills. There are a few things to keep in mind if you have not been here before, and they are: 1. Cash Only (ATM onsite just in case) 2. Parking can be tricky as they are typically busy 3. The intersection they sit on is a bit odd so be careful.
  • This attraction and shoppe from the few times I've been there is always bustling with birds and customers. Giving a nice lively atmosphere. The apples and apple based selections are a very wide variety beyond the titlular product. Sauces, juices, butters, and even hot dogs. But for the cider and cider donuts, theyre always a delight. Warm, fresh, a great variety of choice, and even with 50 customer lines, there's no lack of them. I recommend this for kids if you want a nice rural like experience without any of the long drives. Even the crowds leave as fast as they come.
  • I love this cider mill I visited with my wife and 2 kids around thanksgiving last year and it was great especially to see the joy on my kids face when they were making cider. That was the first time I have been to franklin cider mill in a long time I have lived out of state for years. But the cider and donuts were delicious as always and we also purchased some mackinac fudge very tasty. Will be back next season when I move back to Michigan. Highly recommend Franklin's cider mill.
  • Stopped here when some out-of-town relatives were visiting so they could experience a Michigan Fall tradition. We had hot cider, hot donuts and an apple cider slushie. All of them were excellent. The apple cider slushie was exceptionally good - delicious and very, very cold. The only downside of it was that it was cool outside. I can imagine this would be excellent in the summertime. The ducks in the river were also quite entertaining to watch. When you're in the mood for cider and donuts, check out Franklin.
  • The plain donuts are okay, not the greatest. I liked feeding the ducks with it. The ducks are adorable! I'd go back to just feed the ducks. The hot spiced apple cider is good. Staff were friendly.
