  • Epic views! This is essentially the very northern end of the Grand Canyon (not really, but sort of). It's a state park, so you can take your dogs on trails (on leash). The facilities are great (there's an awesome shade structure at the main overlook point) and quite a few places to camp. Watch out for the open range cows on you drive in! They cross the road at random spots.
  • Me and my family had a wonderful picnic here. Enjoyed every minute, I also liked the covered picnic tables. Beautiful scenery!
  • The park is easy to find, the views are fantastic and the folks running the booth are very pleasant! Very desolate, very dry so bring water and food. Very clean and quiet so be respectful of your neighbors! We had an awesome visit!
  • Fee fee fee fee fee fee.....I get it. Can't look at a river without the damned fee. It was a cool river though and a great view. Not many people, but I was informed by staff that will change as they are going to expand. That's a shame.
  • RV camping fee is $10 a night. There are 8 spots. The camping spaces are right next to the goosenecks. There are also campfire rings and pick nick tables. Overall it's a great place to stay in an RV for a couple of nights.
