This place has a lot of potential. It does however need a good facelift of the slides them selves. This place always gets a new paint job and remodels a few random things but leaves out what's so impo... read more »

Great place to go if you want to stand in lines! Bathroom are disgusting and smelled. Looked like they had never been cleared. Long line up for on everything! Was there for 8 hours and went on 7 slides. Rest of time was standing around…..waiting in long lines. Food was disgusting. Waited over ½ an hour for a burger which was over cooked and cold fries. Then thought I would get pizza from their place. They closed it because they ran out of ingredients to make pizza!! Worst waterpark ever!
Bathrooms extremely disgusting and filthy (I don't think anyone ever cleans them in less than a week). There's only about 7-9 slides which get extremely boring after a while. Lifeguards (most of the time) do NOT do their jobs. When I was there, there was a small child struggling to swim out of the main slides and her parent was right behind her and the lifeguard didn't do a thing. Park used to be clean, now it's smelly and dirty. However, food is good and almost freshly served. But on the way up some rides I see mold growing around the cement. If you are planning to bring your family here, please be cautious and expect them to say 'mommy, i'm bored' after the first 1-2 hours of arriving.
Overall it was a pretty fun time. They've got at least 8 different waterslides, which include 4 on a big "mountain", 2 "inner-tube" slides, and 2 super tall slides (the enclosed black slides). Overall, we had a good time with the kids. Being there around 10am, we were able to get in before a lot of the lines started, so we got on the slides that we wanted to before things started to pile up. One thing we were extremely disappointed in, was their unwillingness to accept tickets purchased online and presented on your phone. They ONLY accept printed out tickets if you want to jump to the front of the line, which is not stated on the website, and is only posted on a small piece of paper next to the entry way. When we arrived, we walked to the park entrance, but were quickly turned away as "they had no means of scanning the tickets we purchased online." And thus, we were ushered to the end of the long line with people who were purchasing tickets (took about 30-40 minutes to get through that). Once we actually GOT to the front of the line, a lady literally wrote our ticket numbers down on a piece of paper, and just waived us through. SERIOUSLY??? That could have been done by the ticket-taker lady standing at the entry gate! But thus they didn't, and now this review's being posted. :) So, again, overall, we had a good time. The kids were satisfied with their waterslide fun, and so were we. I will say that it appears you can reserve picnic tables (???), which we promptly discovered after trying to find a place to sit, and all of the shaded seated areas were sitting completely empty, with a big "RESERVED" sign on them. In regards to that, most of those areas stayed completely unoccupied until between 2:30-3PM, which obviously turned into a huge waste of space, and added irritation to those trying to find a place to put their stuff and sit, but couldn't. :/ Being that we're in the digital age, they really need to get their s**t together as there was a lot of ways (including the ticket line) that they could make their park a lot more efficient, and their customers a lot happier. For that, they get 3 stars.
Never again! Visited on Friday, August, 12. 1500 people visited that day, the record attendance of the season. I checked with the staff. 20 min wait for the slides. 15 min wait for the restrooms. Two out of six women's restrooms were out of order. There are two small benches in the common changing area. No hooks to hang your stuff. The floor is naturally wet. Every square inch needs new paint. I gave it two stars because my four year old son really enjoyed himself and because I couldn't ride the two big black slides that looked like fun and probably would have made the whole experience more worthy. They don't look good, though. Rusting black. The fact remains though, the the bathrooms are gross - quite a rarity.
We drove over an hour to go to Birch Bay Waterslides. After getting our locker keys, we went into the bathrooms to change. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING! Used toilet paper all over the floor. Almost looked like a toilet backed up and it didn't get cleaned up. No hooks to hang your bags in the stalls. Not even on the other side of the bathroom where the two changing rooms are. Other than that, we had a great time. The four main slides were a little slow for us adults but my 8 year old had a blast. There was one employee that had a snarled look on her face all day long too, which didn't make it appealing to get a tube from her as you felt you were doing something wrong.
