  • The Lodge was a pretty cool place in Black Hawkts sits adjacent to the Ameristar on Richman Street. Great friendly people 100% non-smoking.  more »

  • Took my dad here for his birthday. Hotel rooms were modern and clean, very reasonably priced. Hotel was so quiet, never heard the casino below or other guests on our floor. Staff were super friendly and helpful! White Buffalo Grille treated us so well, and the food was superb. We will return to the Lodge without a doubt.
  • Buffet was good. Crab legs were great, actually. Casino staff was distant and rude. Less than helpful. Gaming floor seems crowded. Worth a look, I guess, but not really worth a special trip out to Black Hawk. I'm sure there are better places to spend your money.
  • The Lodge has a very diverse game selection as well as a decent buffet (the wait can be a killer) and players club rewards. They are currently remodeling the lower portion / entrance of their casino but it was not a large part of the overall layout so it makes nearly no difference while it's under construction. It's located between the Ameristar and Golden / Mardi making it a nice place to hop to if you're looking to visit a few different places.
  • The dealers were extremely rude. They wouldn't allow my ferret at the table with me. Even though its my emotional support animal. I had to sneak it in through my luggage. Also the main boss in the blackjack pit told me to attempt to have intercourse with myself. I believe his name was Tony. Worst customer service of my life. Also the whole second floor smelled like cheese. No one had an explination as to why
  • Super busy, but there is a free photobooth :)
