  • The lodge casino is the closest to a Vegas casino that I have been in that is reasonable is cost and good amenities. It has an adequate number of table games and slot machines. The staff was extremely...  read more »

  • This casino is right across street from AmeristarBH resort. It had a little older feel, but nice environment with 2 levels of gaming and one more to come. Mainly slots but a few table games. Reminded ...  read more »
  • Buffet was good. Crab legs were great, actually. Casino staff was distant and rude. Less than helpful. Gaming floor seems crowded. Worth a look, I guess, but not really worth a special trip out to Black Hawk. I'm sure there are better places to spend your money.
  • Fantastic Snack Bar on the North end of 2nd level? Really, may not look like much but exceptionally satisfying.
  • Ok slot games on 3 levels, bar and drink service is acceptable, but expect to only get 1 drink an hour unless you are attentive to watching for the waitress or a big tipper. Table games are plentiful, video roulette is horrible, video poker is better (newer and more machines). Restaurants are decent, the buffett is one of the best in Blackhawk.
  • Great bennies for players club members. Clientele is something less then desirable at times. Buffet is good value. Payouts seem to be above average.
  • It was over crowded. The layout was confusing and for someone who had never been to Blackhawk before it was a little overwhelming. I had a better experience at The Mardis Gras.
