  • To get a feel for the olden days we visited the Laws Railroad and Pioneer Village. The admission is free but suggest a five dollar donation per person to keep the establishment going. It is kept up th...  more »
  • Better than I thought it would be, this is an "old California" exhibit. The staff seems demoralized and uncertain about the future of the museum, 
  • Laws Rail Road Museum is a great place to spend half a day. It is a lot larger than I thought and we rushed thru in a little over 2 hours so give yourself plenty of time. It is much more than a simple...  more »

  • Very interesting and fun. The kids loved it. Sprawling grounds, wonderful staff and really really neat to see. Everything from railroad to mining to the development of the town.
  • This is not just a railroad museum, and their website is way out of date. It's a really cool collection of old stuff, the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, if you're looking to burn a couple hours in bishop go here! Plus, it's pay what you want, so if you really don't like it just keep your $5.
  • Been going here since I was a kid. Love this museum! Such memories! Thanks for preserving it so well. Only additions no changes to my favorite childhood memories.
  • I loved this place, it's huge. The exhibits are really spread out, so be prepared to walk. It's not limited to trains and very historic for the local area. Neat old inventions. Really cool and worth at least half a day of your time.
