  • Grand Statue of Liberty (Lady Liberty) of Birmingham She represents sacrifice, freedom, the American dream-being a part of something larger than one's self. This is what millions of people feel every time they see the Statue of Liberty. But wait-this is not New York! We are in Birmingham Alabama, and this is what travelers see as they are making their way up and down a stretch of Interstate 459: an exact replica of one of our nation's most recognizable symbols. She stands over 106 feet tall and is part of the Greater Alabama Council, Boy Scout of America Headquarters at Liberty Park.
