  • This is a fairly small space on the Boy Scouts grounds. The statue is actually quite impressive but it is not worth the stop unless you are nearby or going to the Boy Scouts of America office
  • This statue is outside of the Boy Scouts Council. Great way to talk to kids about the real Statue of Liberty and why she's in New York.
  • Small statue and out of context, in addition to being out of town. There's nothing really interesting to see there.

  • Grand Statue of Liberty (Lady Liberty) of Birmingham She represents sacrifice, freedom, the American dream-being a part of something larger than one's self. This is what millions of people feel every time they see the Statue of Liberty. But wait-this is not New York! We are in Birmingham Alabama, and this is what travelers see as they are making their way up and down a stretch of Interstate 459: an exact replica of one of our nation's most recognizable symbols. She stands over 106 feet tall and is part of the Greater Alabama Council, Boy Scout of America Headquarters at Liberty Park.
