  • I enjoyed seeing the replica. It is in a pretty spot but there is not anything else around it. We did get some good pics though.  more »

  • It's neat to drive past and see Lady Liberty with a flaming torch, but one has to ask, what's the point of it being here? Not worth stopping by. Vulcan is by far the more worthwhile visit, at least he has a historical reason to be present in Birmingham.
  • Grand Statue of Liberty (Lady Liberty) of Birmingham She represents sacrifice, freedom, the American dream-being a part of something larger than one's self. This is what millions of people feel every time they see the Statue of Liberty. But wait-this is not New York! We are in Birmingham Alabama, and this is what travelers see as they are making their way up and down a stretch of Interstate 459: an exact replica of one of our nation's most recognizable symbols. She stands over 106 feet tall and is part of the Greater Alabama Council, Boy Scout of America Headquarters at Liberty Park.
  • Not many people at night and if you are into creative photography then night time is when you need to go.
  • Beautiful site
  • Surprise find
