  • We stopped while we were in Birmingham for a beer and some carry-out. It was late afternoon on Black Friday and they were fairly busy. The beer is very good and the atmosphere is great. I really like ...  more »
  • It's been a couple of years since my last visit and it's changed tremendously. The new set up is really nice. Good people, good times.
  • This place is right across the street from the Birmingham Barons baseball minor league field. They've got lots of great beers on tap. They will let you sample the beer. They don't serve any food, but ...  more »

  • These folks know their craft beer. We enjoyed a variety of brews and lived talking beer with the staff. The location is amazing. Parking wasn't the best, but worth making an effort.
  • Damn find beer, good bartenders who know their beers, and a great atmosphere make Good People a great brewery and a perfect place to bring folks from out of town. They also frequently have food trucks in the evenings including Eugene's Hot Chicken, Smoky Sam's, and Cantina on Wheels so you can get some good eats to go with that delicious cold beer.
  • I've never considered writing a review for a business but this business deserves it. Good People has shown me that Alabama knows how to make a damn fine beer. I'm from Louisiana, where we take our alcohol very seriously. Good People's Pale Ale is absolutely amazing. It is easily the best pale ale in the south and likely in the country.
  • Great brewery in a great location. Spend your afternoon their and your night at the baseball field. Their brews are some of the best (anywhere)! Snakehandler is a personal favorite.
  • Best local beer selection and honestly my favorite brewery period. This place is dog friendly and just all around friendly in general. I really like that their beer always taste the same from batch to batch, which is not something that every brewery in town can claim.
