  • The Bird in Hand Bake Shop is worth a visit as it offers a variety of excellent baked goods including breads, pies, cakes and other deserts. We most often select Shoo Fly and Vanilla pies, baked apple...  read more »
  • The smell is awesome. From the Shoofly pie to the baked breads. We picked up some Shoofly pie, raisin bread and other goodies to take home with us. Very nice and clean place to visit.
  • I didn't know what some of the bake goods were. Homemade breads look delicious. Shoofly pies and a few more baked goods
  • Fun place to stop and pick up baked goods or trinkets. Out in the middle of Amish Country so you'll see the horses and buggies. Great friendly service, cookie packages were delicious and reasonably priced.
  • Please don't make the mistake of confusing the Bake Shop with the Bakery of the same name. This is by far the best, freshest, real deal Amish bakery in the entire area. This is a great authentic family-owned business and not the chain store that the other place is. Great little present playground for the kids, swinging picnic tables, and a cute little petting zoo with chickens and goats for the kids. Don't let the tourist attraction look of the place dissuade you. The baked goods are the best I've ever had.
  • Great customer service and delicious baked goods. I do not recommend the chocolate mocha rolls though because I want them all for myself. Don't take them. These are not the baked goods you're looking for...*waves hand in front of your face*
  • They have a nice store with large variety of freshly baked goods, souvenirs, fresh ice cream and different kinds of beverages. There is a small play area for kids and chickens and goats that you can feed. There is plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy the ice cream or dessert that you buy.
  • Pretty good selection, off the beaten path, so perhaps a bit less touristy than others. Driving down the back roads to get here is the main attraction, but the baked goods and "nick-nack" selection is good.
