  • They are making a number of efforts to improve this zoo. I have been to many zoos across the world and although this cannot compare, if you go with an open mind to relax you can enjoy your time here. ...  more »
  • This zoo offers a good selection of animals to look at. There is a lot of walking and some of the exhibits do smell, but that comes with the territory. Overall, a nice day trip.  more »
  • So cheap, and well worth it. It's a mile long walk and you'll see all different animals. There was even a little ice cream shop halfway through the zoo. You get to feed sheep right when you walk in fo...  more »

  • This place is a nice little find. Super tiny little zoo. Great cost. Family of 4 getting into a zoo for 20something dollars. I don't know how anyone could complain. It's small but has a ton of things for the kids to see. We would stop again for sure if we were passing through the area. Staff was friendly too.
  • Nice, small zoo. Good for a visit of an hour or two. Or you can also do the Story Garden and Discovery Center and make a day of it.
  • Although the zoo is not very big it is very nice as you can quickly come and go, especially with young children, and it's not generally too crowded. Lately it seems like the zoo is trying to acquire a greater diversity of animals which is great. If you have kids I would recommend a membership, it lasts a year and allows free entry to the zoo.
  • A small zoo with a relaxed feel. Cheap admission, active animals, and super clean. It is about a 1-2 hour experience, perfect for killing time with kids on a weekday afternoon.
  • Our family had a great experience with our Wild Encounter. All the staff were courteous and helpful. Rachael and Courtney were very knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend the experience to any family.
