  • Point Sur State Historic Park has magnificent views of the coast and the sea. We had Sun to happiness, so it was even more beautiful.

  • An outstanding (literally) destination, worth the additional physical and organizational effort to access. Rich history, architecture, and breathtaking land/seascapes. A unique location with dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers. There really is nothing like it.
  • A great place with a lot of history. Go on a tour if you can - it's great value for money with some amazing volunteer tour guides. One of the best stops on highway 1.
  • The tour was amazing! Incredibly informative and fun. It is a little bit long (2.5-3 hours). It would be nice if they had an abbreviated tour for folks with limited time.
  • The lighthouse tour is adorably lo-fi (spoiler: it's knowledgable volunteer guides talking with a binder of old photos) but it's worth the afternoon.
  • Gorgeous! Walk is informative. Views can't be beat.
