  • Road number one all is admirable, especially in the area of Big Sur. Around every corner here meet the amazing beauty of the place. And this Bay is one of them. In addition to landscapes, here you can see many sea otters.

  • In my opinion, for such activities and should go on the Pacific coast of America. Crowded beaches this is not for me, but here you can experience the feeling of togetherness, if lucky, and solitude with nature. It's cool!

  • I went two days in a row. Earlier in the morning meant no people!! I sat for over an hour with this spectacular place all to myself watching otters hunt, eat, and interact. Simply amazing! The otters ...  more »

  • Really cool spot just a short hike in from Hwy 1. Definitely take the time to go explore. The tunnel is awesome and the rocks at the end of the trail are a great place to chill and watch the ocean
  • Beautiful spot to watch the waves crashing against the rocks. An otter was hanging out with us riding the waves. Park on the side of the road, but be very careful of traffic. The trail down is short but steep.
  • Lovely place! please be aware of the warning signs and the waves.
  • Such Cool history! Worth the short hike !
  • Hidden Gem tucked away off the Cabrillo Highway. Pull over at the Tanbark Trail Trailhead and head down the (steep) Partington Cove trail. You'll cross a short bridge, then head through a very cool tunnel. At the end, you'll find a beautiful sheltered cove, home to a kelp forrest and strikingly blue water. Worth the hike.
