  • The variety of scenery is second to none. Rivers, waterfall and beach can all be seen if you visit this park. The hike is has a nice path and is not challenging.  more »
  • This is a rugged hike that takes off from a campground. There are several stream crossings across slippery planks - was wishing I had my hiking poles - but it was worth it to get to the falls  more »
  • If you want to see 11 miles of Highway 1 from Gorda to Limekiln there is a way if you're willing! Take Nacimiento-Fergussen Road out of Bradley, California. This road takes you through Fort Hunter Lig...  more »

  • Beautiful ocean front forest with extensive hiking trails of various degrees of difficulty. Great camping options at fully serviced drive-in sites. Reasonable camping fees and friendly park patrons. Restroom facilities were well maintained, although you'll need a light or head lamp if using at night.
  • This is one magical place! You get the redwoods and the ocean in one location. The trails are nice and easy, and not to mention the gorgeous waterfall at one of them. Great spot for families and for anyone who admires peace and quiet...no cell service is the best!
  • Great park with really nice hikes to the waterfall and the kilns. One of the hidden gems and much less crowded compared to the more popular parks and attractions in Big Sur.
  • Great state park with full facilities. Awesome hike to 100 ft waterfalls thru redwoods, watch the sunset on the beach...got it all!
  • Friendly staff greet you to a beautiful location along the incredible California Coast. There is beach access, camping, and hiking trails near by. No cell reception and nearest store/gas station is several miles away, some come prepared.
