  • Visited Limekiln for access to the beach and it was worth the $10 for day use. The beach is clean and private. The water was VERY cold but well worth the stop as it is hard to find beach access in Big Sur. It also has a small river that leads into the beach. Overall great time! If you visit, remember to keep it it clean or better than you found it. ✌️
  • No doubt the best campsite ever. I love this place! Can't say more because it's already hard enough to book reservations here, lol. Don't want too many people to find out about my secret spot 😝
  • Best $35 bucks, ever spent. Stayed in campsite 13, in the forest with the river running a few feet away from the campfire. Every trip to the restroom doubled as an opportunity walk to the beach; where whales can be seen. Jic, The showers require quarters. The larger restroom, which might be wheelchair accessible has a faucet with plenty of hot water. The campsites are small, but I saw plenty of vans parked on sites 1-12; which are closest to the beach.
  • Beautiful campground on the beach or next to the river. Very clean, nice people running it. But, none of the trails are open! If you want to hike nearby, you'll have to drive.
  • Pulled into our campground and realized that it wasn't no water in the bathrooms, there was NO WATER. Suggestion was made to send us to Limekiln to see if we could get water there and then come setup camp. The Ranger at the entrance did us a solid with helping us to find water and explaining where we could do a dump run at the end of our trip. Thanks so much for making our camping stay in Big Sur much more enjoyable! Will be back to camp here!!
