  • We are a family with teens and pre-teens. There is a wide range of slopes for any ability. From easy bunny slopes to the extra-extra hard double black diamond. We all find something to ski. Lots of fu...  more »
  • Big Sky itself extends about 12 miles, with the ski areas near the top. Lots of lodging, nice looking ski slopes (we were here off-season), and plenty of eateries and ski shops.
  • My wife and I made reservations for the Big Sky resort through our timeshare. We were later informed that the resort would be closed two days after we arrived but that our accommodations were still av...  more »

  • I recently traveled from Salt Lake City, UT and spent the weekend at the Big Sky Resort and wow what a beautiful place. My review is based around the Mountain Biking. The trail crew up there along with the Terraflow group have done an incredible job creating amazing trails. They have everything that you could ask for from flow to long natural descents and some killer tech lines. I have traveled to a lot of different bike parks throughout the world and this ranks up there with the best. I hope Big Sky continues to support and encourage new trail building.
  • Very nice scenery. There are 3 ski lift. The middle one is the Swift Current High Speed Quad which goes up the highest of all. The left one is the Ramcharger High Speed Quad 2nd highest which also has a Everetts Alt. 8800 restaurant above.
  • Enormous ski area on a gorgeous mountain. Offers the complete range or ski terrain and lift devices. Sadly, Big Sky has raised prices to pay for their expansive resort. You can get a season pass at some Montana ski areas for what you pay for two days on Lone Mountain. Your call.
  • Only a 50 mile drive from Gallatin airfield in Bozman. Big Sky resort is possibly one of the best ski resort in North America with its huge mountain to ski with so many trails. With short lines for lifts and a great staff you will have easy traveling up to the slopes . Although the winter is great the summer at Big Sky is truly amazing. With hiking, mountain biking, zip lining plus many more activities this creates many unforgettable memories. Also I recommend the lone peak expedition. Although it may be a little overpriced you will have a great time. You get to the top of lone peak via lifts and a ride on the lone peak tram. Once at the top you get a 360 view from 11,166 feet, from the top you can see 2 national parks and many more. This is a MUST Do!! Hope you have a great time!!
  • Beautiful resort and soo much terrain. Pretty expensive day pass (~$100) if you don't have friends that provide free tickets. They're sexy and they know it.
