  • We had never been here before but thought we would give it a try and ended up loving it. It was very cheap to get in and they even had gold mining for the kids along with a blacksmith that made little swords for the kids out of a nails for free. Not a very big place but lots of History. Great for the entire family.
  • This is an ultra cool place. I think a great place to bring the family, pan for gold and enjoy an educational day in the mountain air! The volunteers are very knowledgeable and the old Blacksmith Shop is great. Yep....very cool place for sure!
  • The Museum is a great place to entertain the kids while taking in some history. The are over a million artifacts in 9 buildings. Free gold panning for the kids!
  • Really a great place to learn some history and entertain children. Everyone working there was pleasant and had strong knowledge of the history. Free gold panning and the blacksmith creates tiny swords for children. Nothing they can harm themselves with but a cool trinket to take home.
  • Very informative, many sights to see and visit, and everyone is dressed to impress
