Long Hill is a 114acre estate in Beverly, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations. From 1916 to 1979, the estate was the summer home of Ellery Sedgwick, author and editor of The Atlantic Monthly. The estate contains a Federal style home with formal gardens, 2mi of hiking trails, woodland, meadows and an apple orchard. The 5acre of cultivated gardens and 100acre of woodland grounds are open to the public daily. There are two miles (3 km) of trails.

  • This is a great spot for walking about, visiting the old homestead, and having a picnic. It also provides wonderful scenescapes for any type of photo: engagement, baby, family, etc. 
  • My wedding party, family, and now husband, were in awe of this beautiful place. The wedding pictures came out gorgeous. Dan Bouchard was extremely helpful and responsive in the planning process!
