  • Grandkids love this park. They even wanted to go in the rain. Close to home and great for nature lovers. Great trails and kids will love the train!
  • There is no place to go specifically looking for resting quietly, and without thinking, even the weekends where you can come because of the dense trees son neither., is a good place to read a book

  • Great place. Fantastic shade. And it smells so nice! Everything is in very good condition. I loved this place as a child, it was really fun for me to give my child a chance to enjoy it as well.
  • Best park in the area. Playground - huge, completely shaded, unique equipment for all ages, plenty of parking, benches/tables, shaded open spaces. Mosquitoes are largely absent due to fogging I think. Kid's Train - cheap and fun for kids. They have special events here sometimes including infant friendly halloween train ride in the dark. Picnic Area - huge, open, shaded, lot's of pavilions Dog Park - Smart design Trails - Lot's of trails through forested areas. Cons: Playground area has no borders, so somewhat easy for kids to roam into forest or parking lot if not paying attention. Most of the equipment is far enough from the parking lot to not be concerning. If you live further east, the Wheaton Regional Park is even better in several ways.
  • Big shaded playground. Train ride through the woods lasts about 20 min. Costs $2 and under 2 years old is free. This is a great park.
  • Great playground area for kids. The train ride was lots of fun too.
  • Clean, well-kept area. Huge dog park with water fountain and shaded areas. 2-3 Pokemon Go gyms and several Pokestops
