  • A fifteen minute free film is a great overview. There are crafts and books for sale. Items of dress are on display as well as historical books.

  • Over the years I have gotten to know quite a few of the folks at the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center. Wonderful people! I'm fortunate to live about a mile from the center and visit quite frequently. This place is a treasure trove of history, artifacts, and information about Amish and Mennonite life and culture. In recent years excellent new exhibits have been added. The Anabaptist history 360° mural tour is a must see! There's also lots of books, publications, photos, and other great resources available for purchase.
  • Amazing place with a 270ft painting (called "cyclorama"). Definitely worth taking a 30-minute tour of this painting, which details the religious history of the Amish and Mennonites. Puts the Amish lifestyle into an understandable perspective and is very enlightening.
  • Fantastic! Lovely friendly people providing comprehensive knowledge of their heritage. A must visit!
  • The man doing the tours are ignorant and rude. Save your money
  • This is by far our favorite part of our Amish country trip. We just happened to find it when we passed by. It was an AMAZING stop! The history & culture of the Anabaptist, Amish & Mennonite heritage. There is a 250 foot x 14 foot painting that goes through the history. It is the first place everybody needs to stop BEFORE they door the tourist thing in that area. They need to do a better job of marketing and get the word out about it.
