  • Parking can be limited. Nice visitors center with lots of information and restrooms. Hiking trails were nicely maintained. Very pretty scenery.

  • Must go to inspiration point and hike/walk the paved trail. So peaceful, beautiful trees, stunning views, you will not be disappointed.

  • Great organization, those with reservations had their own line and could have first pick of “horses”. The rides were not crowded and the open doors allowed plenty of fresh air.

  • This is a park one could come to 100 times & see or experience different areas each time. There is something here for literally everyone. To name a few there is Lawrence Hall of Science which has as its name says varied activities based on the sciences a highly interesting places for a wide range of ages. From It's parking lots there a fabulous 180° view of the San Francisco Bay. There's a golf course, a botanical garden, many picnic spots, a little farm with a great deal of appeal to kids, a merry go round, an area where adults & kids can ride on various sizes of model trains, a plethora of hiking & biking opportunities. It is truly a park for all.
  • The trails are somewhat maintained and the views are really nice. Looks like a great place for kids with the merry go round. The bathroom is really clean with normal flushing toilets and a hand dryer. Would have given 5 stars but getting to the park is pretty scary because of all the hills you must traverse.
  • My friend and I hike weekly in Tilden park. The rangers are friendly and helpful. I love looking up at the tall, green eucalyptus and other majestic trees with the sun peeking through. It is comforting, invigorating, and healing. I am grateful for this park; it is a Bay Area treasure.
  • Whats not to love about this place ? Went to the farm, visitor center, crazy fast merry go around , and the train. Loved the train. If you go on Sunday, you can even ride the train created by train engineers from a club/association. When we headed home, we saw amazing view of the sf with bay bridge and golden gate bridge in plain sight. Don't forget to visit the stone slide nearby in Berkeley which we did not get to do:(
  • Tilde Park has so much to offer. Tons of bike trails, hiking/running trails, picnic areas, animals to feed, play structure, a steam train, carousel and gardens. Great place to spend the day with kids. Make sure to drive carefully and share the road with the bikers.
