  • Wonderful place with plenty of petting opportunity. Almost got my hair done by a cow's tongue. Bring lettuce and celery and feed the animals, it makes for a really fun up-close experience. And it's free! (donations are accepted with check or online).
  • What a gem! This is a wonderful place for the whole family. After feeding the animals, explore the hiking trails. It's a great way to spend a few hours.
  • We got to the little farm around 3 pm. There were only a few other people there when we arrived. The animals were all friendly and enjoyed the celery and lettuce we brought. We had 3 kids, ages 6, 2 & 1. We brought 2 bunches of celery and 2 bunches of romaine. The food went way quicker than I thought it would. I would recommend bringing more than you think you'll need, you can always eat what you don't use, or give it to another family. The kids had a blast exploring and even "chasing" the wild turkeys. It was nice that they had restrooms right at the front of the farm, and even a huge sink outside of the restrooms (even though the sink was out of order during our visit). The small play structure near the parking lot was an added bonus for the little ones. We will have to come back and check out the learning center and have a picnic in one of the large grassy areas. This is a great place to have a free/cheap day out with the kids or even a day date.
  • I havent been here since i was a little kid. I still like it as an adult. It s great for kids to meet new animals and feed them .
  • Peace & tranquility in this place and it's filled with all ages: babies, kids, adults etc. So much fun. You can bring celery & or lettuce to feed the animals. Some animals like the rabbits can't be fed by the public. Signs are posted on what animals are ok to feed. Parking can get packed pretty quickly on weekends. Theres a small park area where kids can play located in the parking area. There's also picnic tables and bbq grills in designated areas. Lots of trails to hike & run. Nature at its best besides the animals. This place never gets dull.
