  • A year ago, I took my daughter to this playground. I thought it would be a great experience for Diane, but once we got there, we had to pay, AND sign a waiver! We walked into the park and she went on a slide, and her pants got stuck on a nail. Then, she went on the zip line. While riding the zip line, Diane's foot got caught on the ground, causing her to trip and fall. I tried to argue with the staff, and explain to them that need to have more safety precautions, my daughter never would have gotten injured... this didn't work. They were extremely rude, i was ticked off by the fee, and my son and I left feeling incredibly upset. Do not recommend.
  • Can't believe this place is 100% free! Amazing fun for school age kids. You start by earning tools (hammers, nails, saws, paint) by returning dangerous items like loose nails, wood splinters, or trash. Once you've earned your tools, there are dozens of in progress kid-built forts, structures, and vehicles that can be added to with tons of scrap lumber available throughout the park. Very fun and creative outlet for kids to build a fort or anything else out of wood that they've dreamed of.
  • So cool. Much more interesting than typical playgrounds. Don't bring your kid here if you are going to freak if your kid gets a splinter.
  • The kids had a blast here and we are planning to return soon. It basically looks like a giant junkyard w/ boards and planks and makeshift towers. But the kids absolutely dig it.
  • A rare opportunity for kids to explore unrefined play structure, build stuff with their own hands and get (really) dirty doing it. Parental oversight recommended.
