  • Swimming for a fee, in a lovely lake with a small beach. Snack bar has your typical burgers/hotdogs. The park has a very strenuous uphill trail that was fun. Other trails are not so strenuous. The woo...  read more »
  • We drove to the summit of Mount Cacapon on a road that was unpaved part of the way, but the view (even on a cloudy day) was well worth it. We think it would be nice to stay at the inn in the park even...  read more »
  • Attended a baby shower for one of our best friends. It was located on the George Washington room. All staff was courteous and helpful. I never realized this was so close and my husband and I are planning to look into one of the cabins in the future.
  • Such a quaint welcoming hotel! They go the extra mile with things like local handmade soaps but are still the best prices around! And there's so much to do we could spend weeks!
  • Beautiful park ! Lots of things to see and do in and around the park. Best cabin location in park, Cabin 10. Set apart, w/beautiful seasonal views. Awesome rustic, log, CCC Built cabin. Nice interior furnishings. Rained most the time (late April), but totally enjoyed just staying in the cabin. Would return ! (See Photos)
  • Do not stay in the cabins!!!!! Very UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!!! The standard cabin we stayed in (cabin #2) was very OLD, smelled bad, and had bugs, dead and alive, everywhere. The rooms are extremely small. So when you're sleeping not only do you have to worry about falling off the kid sizes beds, but you have to worry about creep crawlys on the walls. The bathroom is so small you have to turn your legs sideways to use the toilet and the shower drains so slowly that you're standing in a couple inches of water while you shower. Disgusting! For OVER $100 a night, these cabins are a HUGE RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • We went to the park for a hike. We covered about 7 miles of trails. The park is beautiful and everyone we met was so friendly. We expect to go back to enjoy some of the other adventurous Cacapon State Park has to offer.
