  • We loved our stay here. The cabins are spacious, clean, well equipped, and cozy. Very helpful staff, well marked trails, and beautiful views and wildlife everywhere. We can't wait to come back again!

  • This river is very clean and clear, can see the bottom. The park have beautiful scenery with an overlook that has fabulous views. Park is well maintained. We stayed in a beautiful modern cabin, pet friendly, which exceeded our expectations.
  • Love this park. No cell phone reception....but hey, we were camping! Friendly staff, clean grounds, plenty to do. Stayed four nights in rv site with plenty if room for five people. Had a wonderful time. We'll be back!
  • We love this park. With miles and miles of beautiful trails, from a leisurely stroll along the Shenandoah to a challenging trail climb, the hiking enthusiasts has plenty to explore here. We're local and have not yet camped, but from anything from a picnic by the river to a full day's hike, there is simply no other large yet compact park like it. And don't forget the ziplining! We've visited a dozen times and have only seen half of the park.
  • So beautiful. No traffic noise. Last time there primitive camping I drank my morning coffee while facing the river and watched a juvenile bald eagle fish. Always clean. Flushing toilet bath houses are nice and well kept. Do wish the vault toilets were either removed or cleaned (they are dark and infested w/spiders). Rangers are friendly and check on the campers often on weekends.
  • Amazing park in a great location. We stayed in a cabin which was modern and spacious. Do the canopy zipline tour when you are there. Great activities in the park and it is a great jump point for activities in the area.
