  • If you are interested in American Native history, this is a must see museum. Many fine artifacts and historical information about Native American and other cultures. Don't miss this on your trip to Northwest Arkansas. It's free and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
  • Did not know what a fine artifact collection was housed here. The finest I have seen-and that includes the Field Museum in Chicago. Saw a double bitted chipped stone axe nearly identical to one of my personal finds that had previously been (mis)identified as a "hide scraper" !! Saw many stone tools and fine examples of pottery from our own Pike County Arkansas. THOROUGHLY enjoyed our (too short) time here. Could have easily spent all day. Mark, the curator, was very friendly and informative. The lady that directed us to him (sorry-we did not get her name) was also very personable and helpful. GB Glenwood, Ar.
  • Quite a hidden gem and admission is free! A definite "must see" with an extensive artifact collection. I enjoyed using the handheld handset for the self guided tour and learning how many of the items are tied to Arkansas.
  • We are bi racial french and native American and I think this museum is just perfect. Lots of cool artifacts. Very nice people.
  • It is free, has artifacts from many cultures of America and interesting and varied ways of displaying them and giving information. Kid friendly, too. Very fascinating!
