  • So disappointed. We called ahead. The gate was closed. We called again. They might be able to find someone to open up. We went during garden hours. Nobody there. Their phone number sends you to the fo...  more »

  • We were surprised nothing in bloom. For a park like this it should have more flowers and plants. This park could use some more plants and the highlight was a $12,000.00 piece of $90.00 artwork.  more »

  • Great woodland garden with many local plants and interesting sculptures. One of Bentontonville's finest attractions. It offers quiet, shady retreat for reflection and enjoying nature. Crystal bridges art museum is walkable from here. The razorback runs through it.
  • Compton Gardens is one of Bentonville's finest attractions. The former home site of Dr. Neil Compton, who was a champion for our areas natural spaces and wildlife, has been turned into a showcase Arboretum and nature preserve. Thousands of trees and plants engulf the property making it a sanctuary wildlife. Sitting at the entrance to the Crystal Bridges Museum trail it ushers visitors into a lush world that showcases just how diverse and beautiful the Ozarks can be. They have also turned Neil's home into an event center and regularly host a myriad of events and gatherings. Definitely a must see if you are visiting Bentonville.
  • Nice paths around the conference center. Really enjoyed how many of the plants are labeled. A lot of people were parked in the lot at the gardens to use the adjacent walking and bicycle paths so parking may be an issue if you come during a busy time. Even with a full parking lot the gardens didn't seem that busy with people so it was a pleasant stroll.
  • A beautiful facility surrounded by stunning gardens and a very active path for walkers, joggers, mountain bikers and casual cyclists.
  • Compton gardens is beautiful if you want to go for a walk there it does connect to the walkway for Crystal bridges and you can see art work on the trails and you can see the beautiful flora and fauna that is native to the area read more about Dr.Compton and his contributions to our area it’s so beautiful and lots of benches to stop and sit if you need to (like I do ) worth the walk on a lovely spring day and all the plants and trees are marked so you can educate yourself with the names of the flowers and trees take some time to smell the roses πŸŒ³πŸŒΉπŸ‚πŸŒΊπŸ₯€πŸŒΎπŸŒ»
