  • Fantastic place to see the beauty of the woods. The hiking trails are very well done and easy to walk through, with beauty all around.

  • This is just minutes north of st. Joseph Michigan. We were told about the nature center by a local resident and everything he said was true! The trails are treacherous so elderly and handicapped...

  • Beautiful place to spend time with your family in the outdoors. There is an awesome playground in the forest that my kids really enjoyed! Also a creative obstacle course for older kids! Nice trails and breathtaking hikes on the boardwalk that connect you with nature. Awesome sky bridge with nice views. The nature center is clean, educational and has friendly staff. Highly recommend!
  • This park is absolutely beautiful. You get a little bit of everything in the trail, woods and hills, flat grassland with flowers and trees, and cool wooden risers in heavily wooded areas. I spent about 3 hours walking the trails and hit everything in that time. I recommend going in the summer when the vegetation and wildlife is thriving. Tons of biodiversity, birds, flowers, mushrooms and other small animals.
  • This place was wonderful! The staff was so kind and even let us pet one of the corn snakes. They had a variety of things to learn about and see. The trails are well maintained. There is an amazing nature inspired playground. The butterfly house is beautiful and so fun! Definitely worth it!
  • Great place to hike and experience different ecosystems. An upland forest and a river flood plain. Good boardwalks take you through the Marsh. A lookout tower gives you great views over the Marsh. There's is a small entry fee but with it to support natural area like this one As a bonus theres an old hidden trailer at the end of one of the trails! See if you can find it.
  • This place is beautiful! Came when it was wet so the trails were a bit slippery but still a great visit. Got to see the new owl they rescued inside and the people working are all so friendly and filled with knowledge. Would be a cool place for a wedding.
