  • You need gas, or a dairy Queen treaty, and or some local curios, this would be a good stop. "The Thing" as it is known is not worth the price of admission. I will leave the rest up to you to decide. W...  more »
  • I always wanted to visit the Thing after my husband bought me a beautiful ring here about 20 years ago as a gift. They have very nice native american jewelry. They have lots of gift items and a dairy ...  more »

  • So cool! Worth the stop! What a fun curiosity!! Only a dollar or two to see the thing! Huge eclectic gift shop! And friendly employees! Very memorable!
  • Very awesome outlet shop connected to a DQ. The signs along the road really do their job at advertising to make you curious as to what the thing is. I wont spoil the surprise...but for only $1 the outdoor museum leading up to the big mystery is kinda entertaining. They have some interesting relics that some might find it worth seeing. I do not think it will be fun for kids, but adults might find it neat albeit most will find it pretty boring. Cannot say I was disappointed seeing "The Thing" but, it's not at all what I thought it might be. But, it is a nice and convenient stop...good for getting gas, picking up a souvenir, and maybe getting some ice cream while you are at it.
  • It has alot of unique gift items the staff is hott and very helpful!the stuff on the thing adventure were awesome aswell and i think the thing fallowed me home ahhh!!so cool go checkit out!
  • Worth the stop if you're going east or west bound on I-10 Great view of the Dragoon mountains. Parking lot is semi-truck/RV friendly. Shell gas pumps. Southwest souvenirs. Clean restrooms and there is a Dairy Queen attached to the building. Then there is the Thing! For only a dollar. you can see the Thing. Its a nice little museum with historical stuff with comical descriptions. For only a dollar don't expect much but i say its worth every penny.
  • I love parking here. Nice store with lotsa chinese stuff. Its very quiet at night
