  • It is a great park. Wooded setting with quite a few trails. It varies from early to late successional stands, with oak and aspen in parts, or pine or maple in others. There is also a tamarack and spruce bog with a boardwalk. 5/5 would visit again.
  • Love this place! We live up north of here, and love to stop by for burgers over a fire in one of the pits. The kids like to play on the playground here too. We've taken a number of beautiful pictures from these grounds. CAMPING: We've never camped here, but I've checked the rates on the camper cabins and they are well priced and "modern" facilities. BICYCLING: This is a good drop spot for bicycling the trails, but make sure you have a parks pass. In fact, support the park and just buy and annual. This place is beautiful.
  • Great place amble, ride a bike, and enjoy the great north woods. Cute souvenir shop as well.
  • To the one who gave a 1 star review and was very rude look on the price page it says the following Rate is per site, per night, and includes tax. Add $8/night for sites with electricity. Add $6/night for sites with water and/or sewer service. Peak season rate is charged when shower/water service are typically available.
  • A wonderful park with lots of activities for the whole family, including a resource center, hiking abs biking (skiing ) talks, the Bog Walk, great camping sites and so much more.
