  • I kind of want to give Lory a rating of 1, just so more people don't show up. But then I'd be lying and I hate the burden of guilt. This place is phenomenal for hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimm...  more »
  • This is a WONDERFUL place to hike or bike. Great trails, great scenery. One of the paths we took was the Shoreline one, and it was marked "easy", which for the most part was, HOWEVER, at the end part ...  more »
  • I think this is a good hike for families. There is one tiny stretch that has a pretty steep drop off so I would hold on to younger children. It is at the beginning of the hike. The top offers beautifu...  more »

  • It's great that they allow dogs on leash on the park trails! Our dog loved it and had a great time exploring. Bring bags with you for your dog/s!
  • I've only used this place for Mt biking but the tower road is an amazing workout which leads to awesome single tracks down. It's a great blend of uses that all come together quite harmoniously. Horses, bikers and hikers sharing the same terrain poses a certain set of difficulties but they pull it off well here next to the water. They don't offer camping here but despite that this is still a super awesome state park I. A wonderful location.
  • There is something here for all levels of mountain biker and hiker. Prepare for lots of sun exposure on the easier, flatter trails. Trails are well marked and maps are available. Most trails are open to mountain bikers, with a couple hiker only. There is a fun little mountain bike park near the entrance. Wet weather will lead to deteriorated conditions on the majority of trails.
  • I've hiked up to Arthur's Rock a bunch of times and it's still one of my favorite hikes around Fort Collins.
  • This park is such a gem. The trails are really well kept, the staff and volunteers are so helpful and friendly, they keep up maintenance on all the bathrooms and signage around. There are always dog bags in the stations. This is one of my favorite parks, there are holes and spaces for pretty much anything you are looking to do outdoors.
