  • The museum is located downtown with lots of parking. The building is very attractive and very well maintained. Good history of Bellingham and excellent art and artifacts.

  • Always enjoy stopping by to see their exhibitions. Its always changing and the fee is usually donation based. Parking is next to the building. Entrance is on the street.
  • Bellingham is fortunate to have this museum. The gift shop is great too.
  • With new exhibits every couple of months there's always something new to see here. The sections on historic Whatcom County (photographs, paintings, etc.) are particularly great for those interested in local history. When the Syre Education center is open it hosts an excellent collection of Pacific Northwest native people, plants, and animal artifacts. Pro-tip: your public library membership gets you free entrance to the museum once every 2 months for up to 6 people.
  • The building is a classic Victorian palace. Shows vary, so what you see may or may not interest you, but the venue is interesting anyway...
