  • Such a fun place to visit. I would allow 1 hour for the main Museum and the 2:30 mega Zapp show is a must. Kiddos loved all the interactive displays.  more »
  • Founded and funded by generous citizens interested in educating modern youth on the last 100 years of electrical technology invention, this museum is entirely worth several visits.  more »
  • Yes the old name did not really appeal to the younger generation, but they could have been so much more than one mans vision. Yes his vision was good - originally - but didn't adapt in the best way. T...  more »

  • Interesting place but overpriced. The live show is heavy on drama but light on action and information (and not the full hour). I have attended much better similar shows elsewhere. Some of the exhibits are fascinating, however, especially where a docent is there to help.
  • the website was very deceiving-definitely not kid friendly at all, half of the "interactive" things were broken and the instructions were confusing and poorly written. the 2 things we really wanted to see (the Tesla Coil & the Faraday cage) were part of the "show". i'm not sure how many times a day the show happens but we got there a little after opening and the show didn't start until 2:30. Plus the receptionist dude was pretty much out of a horror movie. Not worth the $8 for adults and $5 for kids
  • The weekend show was great and the kids loved it. The museum has interactive things for the kids to do and has a lot of old electronics and history to explore. I may have liked the museum part more than the kids, but we all had fun.
  • The collection have items from many current times and places. Lots of original items, including a Marconi original radio. Spark show is interesting and, if you never being around a Tesla coil, go for it.
  • Good mix of hands-on exhibits and valuable antiques. Do not miss the show on weekends with Tesla coil demo.
