Padden is a large park with many interest areas. A large, well maintained dog park and off-leash trails, great 2.6 mile trail circling the lake, kayak and canoe put ins, docks for swimming or fishing, large picnic areas with pavilions, ball field, and playgrounds. Really something for everyone!
One of the bigger parks in town. The lake is great for kayaking; the water is still and there's not a ton of people on it. Pretty decent basketball court and picnic area.
This place is amazing. The running path is awesome and you can follow up a nice 3m run with a dip in the lake. Or use the free showers to clean up.
Another great city park. The trails really make you feel as though you're no longer in the city. There's both a dog park and an off-leash area. Mixed-use area where you may see runners, bikers, and people on horseback. Share the trails!
This is such a peaceful and beautiful park. I walk my dog there often and fish it during fishing season. Great trout catches, especially since they stock it.
