  • Great place to run/walk/bike, especially in the summer. Great for taking the whole family, although it can get a little bit crowded on weekends and evenings, if the weather is really nice.  more »

  • I never fail to enjoy time spent at Lake Padden. A good selection of walking and hiking trails with amenities like water stations and showers in the spring and summer seasons, this park is great for solo and group outings for those of all fitness levels. Also they have a decent amount of picnic sites for parties and cookouts. You won't be disappointed!
  • Great place for a leisurely walk or to get a peaceful run in - one lap around the lake is roughly 2.5 miles. Has a swimming beach and is only crowded in the summer months. There is a dog park, basketball court, 2 bathroom facilities on either side of the park, horse trails, fishing dock, tennis court, and easy parking. The lake padden golf course is decent and located on the south end of the park.
  • This park is pretty great for lots of different people. Runners love it because there is a 2.5 mile loop that has some fun hills though part and part is flat. Dog friends love it because there is a great off leash dog park here. You can also swim, play tennis, there is a baseball field, and covered area for groups. It also connects to a lot of great hiking trails that are groomed well.
  • Certain parts of the walking trails can get sodden and mucky, so wear hiking or somewhat waterproof shoes if it hasn't been sunny weather. If you don't want to walk your pup all the way around the lake, there's a convenient off leash dog park, with areas for small and large dogs. There's a decent playground with adjacent covered areas for birthdays or events, and most of the other picnic table spaces around the lake have little BBQ grills by them. There's multiple docks you can fish from, and a boat launch if you want to get out on the water. There's public showers open in the summer to rinse off after swimming, and three separate restroom areas. If you're an equestrian, there are also excellent horse trails and plenty of parking for horse trailers. Its great for trail biking, and kayaking. This is one of my Favorite places in town!
  • Best park in the Ham. We come here all the time, the kids love to rent boats here in the summer. My littlest calls it 'the big water'... Haha. Big enough for a 2 year old, right? We might get our own boats soon, but will always come back here because it's so kid friendly.
