  • As I kept walking, the trail was getting better and better. Calm and peaceful. Pet friendly. My pet had lots of fun. Beautiful colors of nature. Good parking space. Nice place for photography also :) I couldn't find any birds when I went there may be because of the season. I would definitely go again with my puppy in the summer.
  • It's beautiful here and it is part of the pudget sound loop for birding. There are lots of easy trails to run and walk on. I don't recommend bikes on these trail. All of the trails link to one another so you can make your own path. One main trail is through wetlands near the slough and the other trail takes you through an old plant nursery with a neat abandoned pump house. Part of the trails are closed due to the sound transit being built but it was still fun to walk. Go early if you don't want to have to accommodate other walkers.
  • Great place to run or walk. Lots of soft surface trails. There is a stretch of boardwalk which can be slick when wet. As of Dec 2017 there is construction at the trail entrance and parking is a bit limited. Go through the cones and caution tape and you'll enter a peaceful nature scene quickly, even if it doesn't seem like it from the lot. :)
  • An awesome walkthrough wetlands. Really puts a great perspective on nature and just by being there you're able to learn a lot. Some areas there are a lot of bikers and it can get rather annoying having to shift to one side of the trail as your passed by 30 people. There are a few areas with stagnant water that creates a nice aroma... Totally worth the walk though
  • Ah, Mercer Slough. A wonderful oasis away for the hustle and bustle of all the construction around Bellevue. Oh wait, Sound Transit is there. Oh yeah, you can just paddle away from them, too. Go. Have fun. Enjoy.
