  • When you go to this little gem you might want to bring a jacket, it is 54 degrees year round. You will also need to wear shoes to climb in. You do a lot of climb up and down around and over rocks. The...  more »
  • We just went over the weekend. I found it to be rather disappointing. The price was extremely high, $17 for one adult. I felt like $8 should have been highest price charged for anybody. The brochure s...  more »
  • This is more a deep crack in the earth rather than a more traditional cave. Its interesting and a lot of fun to clamber down into but not for people that are not so steady on their feet. Quite a few s...  more »

  • I visited the caverns today with two of my daughters. We had a blast. We happened to come at a slow period, so we got a private tour. Mac was awesome. My girls loved her, she was very knowledgeable, and her personality was great. We loved the gift shop. I got a beautiful Tiger's Eye. My girls got the bags of gems to sift through outside. Tickets are a bit steep. Overall great time!
  • We had a blast! Great family adventure. Perfect cave to explore. As the only open to the public fracture cave in North America - be prepared to stoop, bend and climb through the caverns. Bottom level of the cave is the purest fresh water you will find, and you're allowed to touch and take a sip, bring a bottle and fill it up! Try panning for fossils and gemstones using the sluice trough - great experience for the kids! Neat location, knowledgable staff. Highly recommend!
  • This is not the "prettiest" cave out there. It is dark, and just rocky. You're not going to see any large formations hanging from the rocks. However, I had a good time. Unlike many caves, you will NOT just walk through this one. This cave demands physical effort. You WILL be climbing DOWN (to about 110 feet below the surface). I'm 5'5" and spent 95% of the time hunched over to avoid hitting my head on the rocks. Spaces get VERY tight at times. If you have a good size belly, expect to be squeezing through some areas in order to descend down. Make sure you wear some tennis shoes, some of the rocks can be quite slick. Now finally, I gave the three star rating solely due to the steep $17 entrance fee. This is WAY to much. For this reason only, we will not make a trip back. You would think they would lower the cost, thereby, allowing people to feel more free to spend in their gift shop. TO SUMMARIZE: This was a very fun and physical cave to walk through and see, however, the cost was way too overpriced.
  • I found this place online, the seven levels interested me. When I first got there, I was expecting to be somewhat disappointed due to the small onsite facilities. But once the tour started, I enjoyed it beginning to end. The tour guide was good, and I liked all the twists and turns, not knowing quite what to expect around each corner. It is unusual in the sense that it's not a "traditional" cave, as was explained during the tour. I do plan on going back soon.
  • Bailey the guide was awesome. She was full of useful information about the cavern even though she was there only a month. Great place! We had loads of fun!.
