  • The planes that fly are not in the same location as the museum. Don't get me wrong, it is a historic place with nice planes, but the "real part" of the museum is only open in a hangar on certain event...  more »

  • Very awesome museum. Lots of aircraft spanning a range of US history. Guides are extremely informative, and friendly. Cost is minimal and a charitable donation. They even have some aircraft being refurbished from the local aviation institute and a lot of history regarding Willow Run. A few of the items you can sit or walk into, as well as a small but interesting section related to US postal service during war. Was recommended to stop by after our Ann Arbor trip going to DTW and I would definitely do it again next time I have time on the way to Detroit.
  • One of the little gems of southeast Michigan, so much more than just Thunder Over Michigan. Great lectures, family events and changing displays. A lot going on for this size of museum. Great staff always willing to answer any questions. Love it!
  • Very cool! We had a great time looking at all the exhibits.
  • Very interesting. The volunteer guide was passionate about the subject and very informative.
  • The two tour guides were amazing. One guy, a former engineer, gave me the facts while another lady, a former pilot, gave my son the child friendly tour that he would enjoy. It was very professional and it felt personal. The artifacts are real and the stories are amazing. This is a inexpensive yet wonderful way to spend a hour or so with the kids. Great for adults too!
